Mule days

 The One Spade Youth Packers have been competing at Bishop Mule Days since 1996. The only year missed was 2020. The youth have competed in the youth teamster classes including the farming class and log skidding,  mule packing and hitch competitions, trail competitions, packing scrambles, fun mule competitions, the western races, pack train obstacles, Americana classes(1878 chuck wagon) and comedy classes. Over the years the One Spade Youth Packers have received many awards including being selected as the Bishop Mule Days Grand Marshall. One of the One Spade Youth Packers greatest honors was doing an "Apareho " packing demonstration during the Saturday afternoon show. The One Spade Youth Packers has also participated in the Bishop Mule Days parade each year with a mounted unit, a pack train and a mule drawn wagon.
